Today's outfit has a very classic vibe and is the most dressed up of our outfits this week. We have paired this gorgeous Forrest green satchel with a knee-length cocktail dress, black boots, and a fur Cossack
hat . The neutral toned palette of this outfit allows the eye to be drawn to the gorgeous Forrest green colour of the bag.
Black Fur-Lined Boots- Vintage
Black Bodycon Cocktail Dress- Appletree
Unlike the other satchels featured in our outfits this week, in this OOTD we have actually accessorized the satchel itself by simply tying a vintage scarf to the strap. This just goes to show how versatile a piece a satchel is; in being so simplistic and classic in its design, with an addition such as this scarf it won't look "too much". There are lots of other affordable and easy ways to accessorize a satchel such as this one, for example, adding Navajo style stitching to the strap or adding retro applique badges and/or studs to the body of the bag. However, clip-on badges and scarves may be more appealing to some as they can be added and removed when you like.

Fur Cossack Hat- Vintage
Headscarf (tied on satchel)- Vintage
The addition of the vintage scarf to the satchel, in combination with the fur-lined hat and boots and the simple gold necklace gives the outfit a glamorous edge without going overboard. This outfit is more about lots of subtle pieces coming together rather than one or two bold statement pieces making the outfit, as in yesterday's outfit post.
