Give a Mannequin Man a home for Christmas- they're not just for Christmas
Go-reborn has had the pleasure of the latest genius in table lamp design, the Mannequin Man, for the last week and now they have invaded Godiva's walls and it's a pleasure to have their company. Hand made in Edinburgh these wooden mannequin men lamps make the perfect unique gift and company for any room in your house 365 days of the year. The joy of these lamps is that they can assume any position and sit/stand anywhere. With a 40 watt bulb for a brain this lamp companion will be the envy of all your house&home enthusiasts. These guys can currently only be purchased from the go-reborn shop at Prince's Mall or Godiva Boutique at 9 West Port, plans for online sales start in 2010. We can of course post you one you can't make it into the shop.
Will a choice of lampshade colours ranging from green, black with gold, red morrocan fez and cerise pink (my personal favourite) what are you wanting for? Give one of these guys a home for Christmas. X

Laura Lees sewing kits!
As well as being very proud and pleased at being allowed Laura Lees infamous clothing label she has just sent up some lovely little sewing kits which I think would be great for Christmas! the kits come with thread and instructions so all you need is a wintry night to sit on couch and get sewing! the Patches are very atypical of Laura's embroidery work, you too can sew your own rock and roll tattoo, skull & cross bones and tattoo rose! I know what I want under my tree this xmas! £15 worth invested!
I also put up a wee photo of my current window which also has 3 of Laura's garments. This collection which is mainly featured at the pop up shop is now limited and is out of production next year.
Working at the POP-UP
Its been a full week at the new Pop-Up store and in its true natural form it has slowly taken shape over the week with new contributors and is now bursting with independent designers garments, designs and art. The ongoing mural has been organised by Neil Perry and he has involved some great illustrators so far, Elph, Matt Swan and Ross Christie to name but a few. I have put up a few photos of the work so far and the aim is to have it filled by the end of the month. Like in the summer the live art element to our pop up has been admired by onlookers yet there has been some amusement in the Mall as some don't quite understand that the concept of a work in progress and have expressed doubts that we are open for business as we still have the decorators in. I assure you we are open and come in and check out our art in progress!
It has been great having people come in and help and on Saturday we had Karen Orme pop in on her day off from Urban Outfitters to initially hang out in the space but ended up redressing the window and merchandising the shop! Thanks Karen!
